Your marketing videos should be around two minutes long for the highest engagement, according to HubSpot. The perfect length, however, will depend on your audience, purpose and where the video is posted.
We recommend 30 seconds to a minute for social media videos, two minutes for testimonials and general marketing videos and longer for more complex topics or videos aimed at customers further along in their buying journey.
If your videos are longer than two minutes, it’s also smart to create a short teaser trailer as a way to promote the video and generate more interest. And regardless of length, remember to always keep your videos useful and entertaining.
